Marc Fogel, an American history teacher detained in Russia since 2021, has been released after talks with Trump administration officials, following his arrest for possessing medically prescribed marijuana. His mother, Malphine Fogel, expressed relief and gratitude to President Donald Trump for keeping his promise to secure her son’s release, thanking him profusely and also acknowledging Secretary of State Marco Rubio and others involved in the case. Malphine described the joy and surprise of hearing her son was heading back to the U.S., anticipating that he will be welcomed with many hugs and likely kiss the ground upon arrival.

Volunteer beekeepers swarm to rescue spilled hives after crash
A semi-truck carrying 250 million bees overturned on a Washington state roadway, releasing a swarm of bees. Thanks to over two dozen volunteer beekeepers from Whatcom County, hives were restored, and most bees were expected to return to their hives within 24-48 hours.
