Russia releases American teacher Marc Fogel from prison

Ellen Keelan and family members rallied outside the White House for the release of Marc Fogel, detained in Russia since August 2021. The Trump administration negotiated Fogel’s release in an exchange with Russia, with National Security Adviser Mike Waltz stating that Fogel was on his way back to the U.S. Fogel’s family expressed gratitude to President Trump for securing his release after more than three years of detention.
