Mother and 2-year-old daughter die days after Munich ramming attack, police say

A 37-year-old woman and her 2-year-old daughter died from injuries sustained when a car intentionally plowed into a crowd in Munich, Germany, with at least 37 others injured. The attack, which occurred before a major security conference, is being treated as Islamic extremism, with the 24-year-old Afghan suspect admitting to purposely driving into the crowd for religious reasons and being charged with 36 counts of attempted murder.
