More than 16,000 doses of Ervebo vaccine delivered to DR Congo

The Democratic Republic of the Congo has received over 16,000 doses of the Ervebo vaccine amid its deadliest Ebola outbreak, with a total of 70,000 doses pledged by the World Health Organization. While Ervebo is approved for the Zaire strain, the current outbreak involves the Bundibugyo strain, which lacks an approved vaccine.
