Starting Saturday, over 120 doctors’ clinics in Western Australia will switch to full bulk billing as part of new Federal Government incentives tied to Anthony Albanese’s $8.5 billion Medicare promise. Health Minister Mark Butler announced that 126 clinics will participate, increasing access to bulk billing for patients statewide. The initiative aims for 90% of GP visits to be bulk billed by 2030, with added incentives for clinics that fully adopt this model.
