The Ministry of Health (MOH) will extend a pilot scheme allowing caregivers to assist multiple seniors with daily activities and social programs in shared premises to support families with caregiving needs amidst shrinking family sizes. Work pass flexibilities will be provided to participating companies to hire additional foreign workers for this initiative, which has enrolled over 200 seniors since its launch. MOH will extend these flexibilities to new companies from the second half of 2025, with Second Minister for Health Masagos Zulkifli highlighting the importance of the initiative in supporting families in the caregiving journey.
