The director has capitalized on her popularity with endorsement deals and merchandise, attributing her success to providing a welcome distraction from the country’s political drama. Her keeper, Atthapon Nundee, intentionally cultivated her online presence, leading to her viral fame and increased zoo visitors, while also managing other popular animals like capybaras and a sloth.
