Monty the Giant Schnauzer named Best in Show at the 149th Westminster Dog Show

Monty the Giant Schnauzer won Best in Show at the 149th Westminster Dog Show, marking his third consecutive win in the Working Group and the first win for the group since 2004. Judge Paula Nykiel awarded Monty the top prize after sequestering the seven competitors, with Bourbon the Whippet as the runner-up. Other group winners included Neal the Bichon Frisé, Mercedes the German Shepherd, Comet the Shih Tzu, Freddie the English Springer Spaniel, and Comet the Shih Tzu.
