Moment pensioner ploughs car into bakery causing £10,000 of damage

A pensioner mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, crashing his car into the Rise Market & Bakery in Bridport, Dorset, causing over £10,000 in damage to the building and stock. CCTV footage captured the moment of impact, sending products tumbling and shattering hundreds of bottles in the alcohol store room. Fortunately, despite the presence of staff and customers at the time, no injuries were reported; the driver, believed to be in his 70s, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
