MOL invests in American e-fuels developer

Piet Sinke and Maasmond Maritime report that Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) is investing in HIF Global, a Houston-based e-fuels developer. HIF aims to produce 4m tons per year of synthetic fuel and methanol from green hydrogen and recycled CO2 in the US, Chile, Uruguay, and Australia. In March, MOL finalized an agreement with HIF, signaling a significant step towards sustainable energy production.
