Police are treating the tragic house fire in Sanson that resulted in the deaths of three young children—August, Hugo, and Goldie—as a homicide. Their father, Dean Field, was also found deceased at the scene. While a forensic examination is ongoing, Manawatū Area Commander Inspector Ross Grantham assured the community that authorities are not seeking additional suspects in the investigation. Post-mortem examinations for the children are scheduled to be conducted soon.
