Missing Florida Boy Johnathan Boley Found Dead in Alabama

A 4-year-old Florida boy, Johnathan Everett Boley, was found dead on January 2, 2025, after going missing while visiting family in Alabama. He disappeared on New Year’s Eve while playing outside and was located two miles from his father’s home; his dog was found alive nearby. Authorities have arrested his father, Jameson Kyle Boley, on unrelated charges of unlawful manufacturing of a destructive device, although there is currently no evidence of foul play in the child’s death. Community members held a candlelight vigil in Florida to mourn the tragic loss.
