Former NASCAR driver Michael Annett has passed away at the age of 39, as confirmed by JR Motorsports and NASCAR. Annett made 436 combined starts in NASCAR’s three national series, winning the Xfinity Series season opener at Daytona in 2019 and achieving two victories in the ARCA Menards Series. He was part of JR Motorsports from 2017 until his retirement in 2021, where he was known for his professionalism and positive spirit. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
