District Attorney Steve Mulroy emphasized that the closure is a strong message against properties fostering criminal activity, with the DA’s office targeting various public nuisance properties to combat crime, including a recent nightclub involved in a double homicide. The closure of the hotel resulted in multiple arrests and drug seizures, with ongoing forensic testing to determine the exact amounts of confiscated substances.
