The Courier Journal is currently holding a poll for the girls athlete of the week, featuring standout performances from local basketball players. Nominees include Lane Bennington (Shelby County), who scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Cami Bickett (Bullitt Central) with 23 points, Kylie Downey (North Bullitt) who had 27 points, Carissa Lyons (Ballard) with 18 points, and Tamari Oliver (Central), who achieved 17 points and 12 rebounds.
