Former Police Commissioner Andrew Coster is currently on leave from his position as chief executive of the Social Investment Agency, following a critical report by the Independent Police Conduct Authority regarding the handling of complaints against former Deputy Commissioner Jevon McSkimming. Public Service Minister Judith Collins stated that the leave was agreed upon with Public Service Commissioner Sir Brian Roche, who is initiating his own employment review process with Coster after the report’s findings.
