Maxim Naumov, a Massachusetts figure skater whose parents died in a plane crash nearly a year ago, has made the U.S. Olympic team for the 2026 Games in Milan. He joins world champions Ilia Malinin and the ice dance duo of Madison Chock and Evan Bates, who lead a strong American squad. Malinin, aiming for gold, and Liu, back from retirement, are among the top contenders, alongside first-time Olympian Amber Glenn. The U.S. Figure Skating team announced includes 16 athletes, with hopes for gold in both men’s and women’s events.
