‘Master of Mutilation’ charged with supporting Cameroon separatist groups

A federal grand jury has indicted Eric Tataw, a 38-year-old Maryland man, for making threats and providing material support to separatist groups targeting Cameroon citizens. Tataw, allegedly known as the “Garri master,” promoted violent acts against civilians and raised over $110,000 to fund the “Amba Boys,” a group advocating for the secession of English-speaking regions of Cameroon. Charged with multiple counts related to his threats and conspiracy, he faces significant prison time if convicted.
