Masked attackers assault victims in Bristol park

A man has been arrested and another is being sought in connection with a series of nighttime assaults on men in Bristol’s Castle Park, with at least four victims targeted over five days. The attacks involved two or more suspects who approached victims, shone lights in their eyes, and physically assaulted them, resulting in some requiring hospital treatment. Police are treating the incidents as linked and are concerned they may be homophobic in nature, increasing patrols in the area. The arrested individual is a 32-year-old man, while descriptions of the suspects remain limited due to the late-night occurrences.
