Maryland Democrats Post Sign Addressing Trans Sports Concerns

Ebersole and Allen expressed their support for the LGBTQ+ community and denounced discrimination against transgender youth. This incident occurred just before a vote on the Fairness in Girls’ Sports Act, which seeks to enforce bans on trans athletes in girls’ sports, a measure already adopted by 27 states. The sign also highlighted concerns about policies that jeopardize the dignity and safety of transgender youth.
