Marsha P. Johnson, a pivotal figure in the Stonewall uprising and co-founder of STAR, was a Black trans drag artist who fought for LGBTQIA+ rights. Born in 1945, she led the first Pride march after the Stonewall riots in 1969, yet her life ended tragically in 1992; her legacy as a visionary and activist continues to inspire.
