Marsh and Stoinis cleared for World Cup match

Australia faces a crucial T20 World Cup match against co-hosts Sri Lanka, with captain Mitch Marsh and allrounder Marcus Stoinis likely to play despite recent injuries. Marsh has trained well after a testicular injury, while Stoinis reported his hand is “battered and bruised” but not broken. Australia, coming off a shocking loss to Zimbabwe, must win to advance in the tournament, knowing another defeat could eliminate them from contention. The match will be their first at Pallekelle Stadium, adding uncertainty to their preparations.
