Forced displacements and settler attacks in West Bank by Israel

The Israeli government approved a plan to designate large areas of the occupied West Bank as “state property,” prompting regional condemnation as a de facto annexation. At least 37,135 Palestinians were displaced in 2025 due to military incursions and settler attacks. Settlers, Israeli citizens living in illegal settlements, have attacked Palestinians over 3,700 times in the past 28 months, with the highest number of attacks in Ramallah and el-Bireh.
