Maori and Indigenous All Stars share spoils across razor-tight men’s and women’s NRL exhibitions

The Maori claimed a hard-fought 10-6 All Stars rugby league win over the Indigenous in the men’s clash, with tries from Jacob Laban and Jesse Arthars securing the victory. Arthars was awarded the Preston Campbell medal as the best player of the game, while Niwhai Puru missed a chance to win it for the Indigenous at the death. In the women’s game, Lailani Montgomery’s last-gasp penalty gave the Indigenous a 20-18 victory, marking the first back-to-back win in the women’s All Stars history.
