Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, a renowned economist and the first Sikh to hold the office, passed away in New Delhi at the age of 92. Known as the architect of India’s economic reforms, Singh served as prime minister from 2004 to 2014 and as finance minister in the early 1990s, where his policies led to economic liberalization.
