Authorities are searching for Troy Dugas, a 36-year-old Texas man mistakenly released from jail before serving a 5-year state prison sentence for assaulting a family member and a 2-year sentence for evading arrest. Dugas was in custody since August 14, but jail staff reportedly failed to document his prison sentence, leading to his erroneous release; he is described as a 6’1”, 215-pound Black man with a neck tattoo.
