Thames Valley Police are searching for Mahad Elmi, 27, who escaped from HMP Springhill in Buckinghamshire on the night of December 25-26. Elmi is described as a black man, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, with medium-length black hair, a beard, and brown eyes, and has links to South West London. Authorities urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 101 or report online, while advising the public not to approach him. Detective sergeant Matthew French emphasized the importance of public assistance in locating Elmi.
