Manchester Synagogue Attack Suspect Identified as British of Syrian Descent

Jihad Al-Shamie, a 35-year-old British citizen of Syrian descent, was shot dead by police after fatally stabbing two Jewish individuals during an attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester on Yom Kippur. In the aftermath, three men were arrested on terrorism-related charges, while two other men sustained serious injuries, and a suspicious device worn by Al-Shamie was deemed non-viable.
