Grandson finds grandfather’s signature behind wallpaper during renovation

A couple, Mark Strathan and Mark Cunningham, were astonished to find handwritten notes from Strathan’s late grandparents hidden behind wallpaper in their Aberdeenshire cottage during renovations. After nearly eight years of transforming the home, they have decided to sell it for £299,000 as they begin a new chapter following Cunningham’s cancer diagnosis.
