A man set himself on fire outside a Tunisian synagogue and was killed by police

In Tunis, Tunisia, a man set himself on fire in front of the Grand Synagogue and was fatally shot by police, injuring an officer and a bystander. The man, who had psychiatric disorders, approached officers while ablaze during Sabbath prayers. Tunisia, once home to a large Jewish population, has seen previous attacks on Jewish sites, including a fatal shooting at El-Ghriba synagogue and vandalism at other locations.
