Ian Huntley, the killer of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, was attacked in HMP Frankland on Thursday, sustaining serious head injuries after being struck with a metal pole. Following the assault, a fellow inmate reportedly shouted, “I’ve done it, I’ve done it.” Huntley remains hospitalized in serious condition, while a suspect in his mid-40s has been identified but not yet arrested. This incident marks another attempt on Huntley’s life, as he serves a life sentence for the murders of the two girls in 2002.
