Paul Lumber, a 60-year-old published author and well-known figure in Bristol, tragically died after falling from a ladder while putting up Union Flags for the ‘Raise the Colours’ initiative on November 23. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he never regained consciousness from an induced coma and passed away late last week. Friends described him as a colorful character, devoted to his family and a lifelong supporter of Bristol City and England. A fundraiser initiated for his family has raised over £5,000 in support following his death.
