Man charged with selling stolen firearm used in shooting

A Virginia man, Kenya Mcchell Chapman, 32, faces federal charges for selling a stolen Glock 44 .22-caliber firearm to Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, the gunman in a recent shooting at Old Dominion University. Chapman is charged with making false statements during gun purchases and selling firearms without a license. Investigators linked him to Jalloh, a convicted felon who killed an ROTC instructor and injured two others before being killed by students. If convicted, Chapman could face up to 35 years in prison.
