Steven Fike, a 67-year-old Alabama inmate, is expected to plead guilty to manslaughter for the 1980 killing of 19-year-old Wendy Dansereau in Boston. Dansereau was found strangled and sexually assaulted at the Hotel Diplomat, with Fike’s DNA matching evidence from the crime scene. Fike, who previously pleaded not guilty, is serving a life term in prison in Alabama for a 1982 rape and murder conviction.
