Man arrested following death of woman on ferry at Rosslare; ‘brawl’ erupts causing ‘serious incident’ on board

A woman was found dead in the bathroom onboard the Stena Nordica ferry arriving from Fishguard at 5.30pm, leading to a public order incident and a man being arrested in connection with the investigation. Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, with a post-mortem examination pending. The next sailing from Rosslare to Fishguard has been cancelled, and a crime scene has been declared on the ship.
