Man, 66, arrested in Utah for alleged 1977 murder of McKinley student

A 66-year-old man was arrested in a Utah nursing home in connection with the 1977 murder of 16-year-old McKinley High School student Dawn Momohara, who was sexually assaulted and strangled to death. Gideon Castro was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder after DNA evidence linked him to the crime scene. Momohara was found dead on the second floor of the English building, and investigators determined that Castro knew her and had been a suspect since shortly after her death.
