Man, 59, stabbed to death inside Hegewisch home; suspect in custody, police say

A 59-year-old man was fatally stabbed inside a Hegewisch home on the Far South Side by a known offender at 4:18 p.m. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. A suspect has been taken into custody, and charges are pending according to Chicago police.
