Delhi High Court Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya has recommended a “deeper probe” into the controversy over alleged cash found at Justice Yashwant Varma’s residence, who vehemently denied any involvement, stating that no cash was ever placed in the storeroom. A three-member in-house inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the allegations, and Justice Yashwant Varma has been transferred to his parent court in Allahabad following the Supreme Court Collegium’s orders.
