Declan George-Candiani, a 26-year-old self-proclaimed satanist, was sentenced to nearly two years in prison for possessing extremist far-right materials, including guides for ‘lone wolf’ attacks, after his arrest at Stansted Airport in August 2024. Authorities discovered terror-related documents on his devices, alongside a German imperial flag and a ram’s skull at his home. Despite his claims of downloading the content inadvertently, he admitted to an unhealthy obsession with the satanist group Order of Nine Angles and had a Nazi symbol tattooed on his chest. Candiani was convicted of two counts of collecting information useful for terrorism and will face additional monitoring after his release.
