Mali’s Tuareg rebels, led by the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA), are intensifying their campaign against the military government, aiming to expel Russian forces supporting President Assimi Goita. Following the assassination of Defense Minister Sadio Camara, the rebels have launched coordinated attacks across multiple cities, claiming they will ultimately succeed in toppling the regime. The FLA plans to implement a moderate form of Sharia law in regions they control, as tensions escalate in the country. France has advised its nationals to leave Mali due to the deteriorating security situation.
