Knightsbridge Underground Station Becomes Step-Free
Knightsbridge underground station, built in 1906, has recently become the 93rd step-free Tube station in London, featuring a new entrance and three lifts. Although the installation was anticipated for 2020, delays due to construction issues postponed the opening until 2023. Transport for All, a campaign group, criticized the four-year delay, emphasizing the need for enhanced accessibility in public transport for disabled individuals across the city.
