A pair of NASA astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, who were stranded on the International Space Station for nine months, have completed a 45-day rehabilitation program to readjust to Earth’s gravity. After their return in March, both faced significant health challenges, including muscle loss and extreme fatigue, with Williams struggling to get out of bed and Wilmore experiencing neck pain immediately after landing. They worked two hours daily with NASA experts to regain their strength, while also highlighting the long-term physical and psychological effects of prolonged space travel.
