17-year-old Luke Littler defeated Stephen Bunting 8-7 to win the Players Championship 20 title in Wigan. Littler had a strong start, leading 5-1, but Bunting fought back to level at 7-7 in the best-of-15 final. In the end, Littler held his nerve to secure his seventh victory of the day, including wins against Luke Humphries and Dave Chisnall.
