The first trailer for Eric Lin’s feature debut, Rosemead, has been released, showcasing a haunting narrative inspired by a true story. Starring Lucy Liu as Irene, a terminally ill Chinese immigrant, the film explores her desperate efforts to protect her teenage son, played by Lawrence Shou, from his disturbing obsession with mass shootings as her health declines. Set within a tense Chinese American community, it delves into themes of fear, love, and moral sacrifice. Rosemead is set to open in select U.S. theaters on December 5, 2025.
