Summary
London’s King’s Cross station was evacuated due to a fire alarm caused by smoke from a retail unit, leading to a temporary closure and disrupted rail services. Passengers were instructed to exit as an emergency announcement indicated the situation, with Great Northern advising travelers to use alternative routes that may take longer. The station has since reopened, but delays of up to 20 minutes were expected during rush hour, and passengers were encouraged to check their journeys and consider traveling from nearby London St Pancras station.
