Metra has unveiled a special locomotive in honor of Veterans Day, featuring a bald eagle, American flag, and military figures in camouflage paint. The locomotive will rotate through various Metra lines starting with the Rock Island Line, followed by BNSF, Milwaukee District, and Union Pacific lines. The design was created by Metra graphic designer Falecia Woods and brought to life by workers at Metra’s Kensington Yard Facility paint shop.
