Local fitness leader raises $40K for Big Brother Big Sisters

Local fitness entrepreneur Jaclyn Cordeiro donated $40,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor-Essex to support their youth mentorship programs. The funds will benefit the Go Girls! Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds program for girls ages 12-14 and the Game On! Eat Smart, Play Smart program for boys ages 11-14. Cordeiro, founder of JACFIT and a fitness model, writer, and registered nurse, aims to empower children through physical activity, balanced eating, and healthy lifestyle practices.
