Several people were injured when a car crashed into a crowd of Liverpool fans celebrating a Premier League trophy parade on Water Street. The 53-year-old driver was arrested after the vehicle drove indiscriminately into spectators, with footage showing a man being carried on the bumper before falling and further injuries occurring as the car continued into the crowd. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer condemned the “appalling” scenes and expressed his thoughts for those affected, while emergency services were on site responding to the incident.
