A Michigan woman, Linda Stermer, was convicted of murder and arson for allegedly setting her home ablaze to kill her husband, Todd, and running him over with a van when he escaped. After being sentenced to life in prison but later released, she faces refiled murder charges amid claims of an unfair trial, as investigators found Todd’s blood on the van’s bumper after he was discovered severely burned and unable to communicate.
