Lincoln Knowles: Utah Free Soloist

Lincoln Knowles, a 21-year-old free soloist, made history by free soloing Squawstruck, North America’s tallest bolted big wall, in just over four hours on July 11, 2025. Originally from Kansas and having grown up in Shanghai, Knowles transitioned from studying computer science at the University of Utah to pursuing a career as a climbing influencer, honing his skills through extensive training and practice.
